Kontiki got his name because no one knew where he came from.  He might have traveled a long distance.  Kontiki was a young adult male when we first found him, and he had two calico kittens in tow.  We thought he might have been their father.  The two kittens have since been adopted.  Kontiki is a domestic long-hair and he loves to be groomed.  He is very friendly towards most cats, particularly kittens.
