Furano was rescued as a kitten along with his siblings Niseko, Appi, and Teine (Tiny).  He has grown into a most beautiful long-hair orange/white kitty.  He is so good-looking that we should have named him “Pretty Boy Floyd” instead of Furano.  As a long-hair cat, he loves to be groomed, but the quality of his fur is so exceptional that very little fur comes off with grooming.  Furano seems to know that he is a handsome boy and therefore he is somewhat aloof.  He evidently feels that he is superior to other cats.
